Programs and Environment

We understand that being a new parent can be very nervous and exciting at the same time. Our environment is very comfortable and parents are always welcome to drop in, nurse infants, or call us anytime. At Angela's, we love to hear feedback, hear what's on your mind, and introduce you to your child's playmates. We have parent meetings, family day events, and annual parties. Our programs are designed by the teachers and are age appropriate. Depending on the age and group of the child, the teachers/primary caregiver will coordinate activities with attention to social, cognitive, and physical development.

Infant Group (Newborn - 12 months)
Our infant environment is safe and welcomes our newborns to explore their surroundings. Each newborn is assigned a primary caregiver with whom they form close and trusting and relationships. We'll focus on simulating the home schedule via feedings, naps, diapering, and playtime. Each day, we'll provide parents with a report of the daily events.

Toddler Group (12 months - 24 months)
The Toddler Group offers an array of activities that encourage interaction with peers and their surroundings. The classrooms are designed to invite and encourage safe exploration in a hands-on environment with developmentally appropriate activities. Primary caregivers are supportive and encourage interactive group play through singing songs, storytelling, color explorations, outdoor play, and excursions to Golden Gate Park in our Baby Buggy.

Pre-K (24 months - 36 months)
The Pre-K group continues everything in the Toddler Group but with a more structured schedule. The facilities for this group include large and small group areas with activities such as book exploration, arts and crafts, learning the alphabet and numbers, and educational learning play on our Macintosh computers. We also offer a quality nutritional program which includes breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks.
